Areti Vasilara is an accomplished HR leader and the Head of the Human Resources Department at the Iakovos Photiades Group of Companies. With over 15 years of professional experience in the HR field, Areti has built a robust career across various sectors, specializing in Human Resources management. For the last 7 years, she has focused her expertise on the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector in Cyprus, working across both the retail and foodservice channels.

Throughout her career, Areti has developed deep expertise in a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, training and development, performance management, executive coaching and mentoring, organizational and culture development, as well as employee relations. She is known for her strategic approach to HR processes and her ability to align human resources practices with business goals to drive organizational success.

Areti holds a BSc in Sociology from Panteion University in Athens and a MSc in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). Her commitment to professional growth and development is evident in her accreditation as a Coach/Mentor (European Individual Accreditation) by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Additionally, she is a certified trainer by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA), further showcasing her dedication to enhancing professional standards in the HR field.
